Analyzing severe nuclear accidents and disaster prevention

100年日本發生強烈地震造成福島電廠發生嚴重核安事故,為提升我國核能發電安全需加強嚴重核子事故研究。已成功建立核電廠MELCOR參數檔與分析模式、核三廠WinMACCS輸入檔、以及運用AST方式分析核電廠設計基準事故。經由逐一完成國內各電廠分析,期能精進國內核能安全之技術。

In 2011, a heavy earthquake struck Japan and caused a severe nuclear accident at Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. To improve nuclear safety in Taiwan, research on severe nuclear accidents is necessary. MELCOR code and analysis model and Maanshan Nuclear Power Plant WinMACCS input file have been successfully created, and the AST method has been used to analyze nuclear power plant baseline accidents. The analysis of each power plant has been completed to improve nuclear safety in Taiwan.
