依據聯合國資料顯示，過去20 年來與氣候相關的災難與日俱增，世界各國除了探討氣候變遷議題之重要性，對於救災技術與設備之精進更是刻不容緩，本計畫已完成高機動節能淨水模組設計製作與測試，另委託慈濟基金會及紅十字會針對淨水模組組裝及操作進行測試，並提供回饋意見以利設備精進，此外亦援助一套高機動節能淨水模組于慈濟基金會，實際在寮國水患災區進行應用，三天內已提供3000 公升潔淨水給災民飲用。在技術推廣方面，已完成高機動節能淨水模組操作手冊，並完成至少6 項技術推廣活動，使民眾了解災時緊急淨水之重要性。

The design, production, and testing of the high mobility and energy-saving water treatment system have been completed. The Tzu Chi Foundation and the Red Cross group have been commissioned to test on the assembly and operation of the water treatment system and to provide feedback for further improvement. One set of the water treatment system has been provided to Tzu Chi Foundation for disaster relief in Laos, providing 3,000 liters of clean water to the victims in three days. In terms of technology promotion, the operation manual of the high mobility and energy-saving water treatment system has been produced, and at least 6 technical promotional activities have been conducted.
