本計畫主要工作內容為國產高空人工增雨焰彈研發,並以石門水庫作為進行增雨焰彈試射之實際場域,並搭配大氣觀測實驗,因過去人工增雨作業多以地面燃燒方式進行,除凝結核與空中降雨系統間交互作用具不確定性外,亦缺乏完整大氣觀測實驗評估其成效,故運用探空氣球、氣象雷達等設備進行大氣觀測,依據觀測實驗結果,精進國產高空人工增雨焰彈相關作業條件。
The research and development of domestic high-altitude pyrotechnic flare use for cloud seeding have coordinated atmospheric observation data and used Shimen Reservoir to test and evaluate the pilot run of pyrotechnic flare. Artificial precipitation enhancement operations were mostly carried out by ground burning. However, the interaction between the cold-condensing nuclear and the rainfall system is uncertain, and the atmospheric observation data and the verification of the rainfall results also lack rainfall effect evaluation. By using sounding balloons, weather radars, and other facilities for atmospheric observation, domestic high-altitude pyrotechnic flare use for cloud seeding operating conditions can be further improved.
